Season 4 of Showtime’s Dexter will begin showing in September. Meanwhile, on August 18th Season 3 of Dexter will be released on both DVD & Blu-Ray.

To be honest I thought season 3 of Dexter wasn’t quite as great as seasons 1 & 2 but that’s not to say it wasn’t a good or that I haven’t already pre-ordered season 3 and that I’m not extremely excited about season 4, only that seasons 1 & 2 were so good they were hard to match.

In fact I plan on watching all of season 3 over again as soon as I get the DVDs delivered. I want to be ready season 4.

In my opinion Dexter is the best show on TV right now (the only thing that is as good is HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm and that’s a totally different type of show of course.) That’s partly because Dexter is a very good show with unique characters and a very interesting storyline but it’s also because there’s very little quality TV these days.
