I got an email today from Amazon about the Flip MinoHD Camcorder (720p) being the deal of the day at only $119! This seems like a really extraordinary deal (and it would make an awesome Christmas gift for just about anyone) so I thought I would share it here with my readers.

This camcorder has really strong reviews for such an inexpensive camcorder (even it’s usual price is pretty low.) It’s really amazing how the quality of camcorders has increased while the price has gone lower and lower over the last 10 years. I remember when I bought my first digital camcorder (using the now quickly becoming obsolete mini DV tapes) in 1999 and it costing well over $1000!

As the phrase “deal of the day” suggests, this is just a one day deal so when December 16th is over, so is this deal and it’ll go back to it’s usual price (which I believe is $169.)
