The Beatles Remastered Mono CD Box Set

Includes all 10 of The Beatles albums which were originally mixed in mono (that excludes Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road, & Let It Be which were never mixed in mono in the first place.) This is the first time that these original mono mixes have been available on CD.

These are of much interest to Beatles fanatics because when these albums (Please Please Me through The White Album) were recorded & mixed, a lot more time and thought was generally put into the mono mixes than the stereo mixes (which were often done very quickly.) In other words these are the mixes that The Band and George Martin spent the most time perfecting. If you want to know what the originally intended sound was, you need these CDs.

This box set is even more essential than the stereo box set because these mono versions of The Beatles albums are only set to be released as a part of this box set (the stereo versions can be purchased individually.) Includes all 13 of The Beatles studio albums remastered for the first time since The Beatles albums were originally released on CD in the 1980s. Also includes the Past Masters collection which has all of the Beatles recordings that were released on singles or elsewhere (but never included on their albums.)

You will also get a DVD which includes a short documentary on the making of each of their albums.
