I’m excited about both of The Beatles remastered box sets but it’s the Mono Box Set that I’m particularly interested in because it contains many original mixes of The Beatles songs that I’ve never heard before.

The original mono mixes for The Beatles albums from Help! through The White Album have never been released on CD until their inclusion in this box set (which is released on 9/9/9.) Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road, & Let It Be are not included as they were never originally mixed in mono.

The first four Beatles albums have been released on CD in mono previously, but they are remastered in this box set for better sound quality.

The box set will also include the original stereo mixes for Help! & Rubber Soul on CD for the first time ever. The original stereo mixes for these two 1965 classics were scrapped in favor of new stereo mixes when The Beatles albums were first put on CD in 1987.
