The Beatles Stereo Box Set has now moved into #1 on Amazon.com’s music best sellers list. This is pretty incredible when you consider that they are currently selling this box set for $180 (it’s list price is $260) and most of the other items on the best sellers list cost only $9.99 (although if you’re spending $10 to buy an album by something as awful as Daughtry, currently ranked #4, you are still getting ripped off.)

Currently The Beatles Mono Box Set is actually sold out on Amazon but you can still sign up to be contacted when they do get more in stock (if they do?)

Of course most Beatles freaks (at least those with any interest at all in playing a video game) will also want to buy The Beatles Rock Band which is available as software only (for those who already have the instruments) and as a really cool full set (with Beatles themed instruments.)

All of these goodies are actually released on 9/9/9 but as you can see – many fans are not waiting until they are actually released – instead they are pre-ordering now. The fact that the mono box set has sold out is a good indication that’s a good idea.
